ISO 52000
ISO 52000-1:2017 establishes a systematic, comprehensive and modular structure for assessing the energy performance of new and existing buildings (EPBs) in a holistic manner.
It is applicable to the assessment of the total energy consumption of a building, by measurement or calculation, and the calculation of energy performance in terms of primary energy or other energy-related indicators. It takes into account the specific opportunities and constraints for different applications, such as the design of buildings, new buildings as implemented and existing buildings in the operational phase, as well as renovation and restoration.
